This is scary to think about the True Dark Ending of Shadow The Hedgehog. Destroying the planet is not what Black Doom had wanted. Mephiles is probably the most evil of the Sonic villains. Sure The End did worse, but Mephiles knows he isn’t a savior, and revels in it, while The End is a delusional death god. He also has more gravitas to his actions. I can’t wait to see him return in a future installment.

I liked shadow, he was uppity and abrasive but his memories and personality were altered and when he was free he quickly saw the truth and did the right thing, realizing sonic and his team were in he right, he came around and eventually dropped the mocking incessant tone he was used to, since it had no place anymore, and in the end he sacrificed himself to help save everyone. Good stuff. But that was supposed be his story. SHADOW NOW THOUGH just shows up like nothing happened to hurl tired insults and be childish and irritating. Shadow as a recurring character "in the pile" is an insult to himself
